Worthing Train Walk

With 170 people of all ages, from 16 days to 91 years old, taking part at in the Worthing Seafront Train Walk, this was one of the biggest Train Walks yet this summer!

Train Walk organiser Clare Greaves sums up the day:

"Our walk was a massive success! Many of the children did the walk on their bikes or scooters and we stopped midway for a drink at our beach hut, where there were soft drinks, cakes and strawberries to feast on for everyone, kindly donated by some wonderful friends!

"We then continued the walk to the end, where there is a cafe. The owner gave everyone who had done the Train Walk half-price ice creams, food and drinks! Everyone has said they had a lovely time and met lots of new people. We are hoping to do the same this time next year."

Clare is still counting up sponsorship money and expects to raise over £1,500 for the NAS. Well done, everybody!
